    Dec 10, 2008 "Whether you tape me privately or publicly, I can tell you that whatever I say is always lawful and the things I'm interested in are always lawful."

    On an another call he told "adviser A": "I've got this thing and it's [expletive] golden and, uh, uh, I'm not just giving it up for nothing. I'm not gonna do it. And, and I can always use it. I can parachute me there."

    After quoting from the Rudyard Kipling poem "If", Mr Blagojevich said: "There are some powerful forces arrayed against me. It's kind of lonely right now." "But I have on my side the most powerful ally there is, and it's the truth."

    "I will fight. I will fight. I will fight until I take my last breath," Blagojevich said in a Dec. 19 press conference in Chicago -- his first public statement since his arrest.

    "They're not willing to give me anything except appreciation. (Expletive) them," Blagojevich told Harris in an intercepted call Nov. 11.

    "I can drive a hard bargain. You hear what I'm saying. And if I don't get what I want and I'm not satisfied with it, then I'll just take the Senate seat myself," the governor allegedly said of filling the US Senate seat, speaking with a person...

#Blagojevich defense to begin cross-examination of John Harris this morning

The Defense will begin their cross examination of John Harris this morning.  Court ended abruptly on Thursday because  Defense Attorney Aaron Goldstein was ill.  Testimony on Thursday included more taped conversation about Blagojevich's choice for the Senate Seat.
