We all owe a huge debt of gratitude to Susanne Berger's blog whose format and construction is excellent and her efforts to keep the readers informed through technology instantly and completely. We are undeserving. I am greatful beyond words the opportunity accorded me on this blog to inform the reader of my own blogs, primitive as they are in construction, of the appalling corruption that exists in Cook County. It is far worse done to me, tax payors of Illinois and family by the law enforcement agencies and certain civilians in many walks of life in Cook County and as I have said all along, I may never receive justice, but my story is out there, and people like Berger have made it possible to examine the workings of Cook county on a detailed basis short of reading the entire Blagojevich trial transcript. She is the Scott Turow of the non fictionalized Cook county criminal trial subculture and students of law should take notice.
Rod Blagojevich will be found guilty of crimes. His journey has been one of amazing humble beginings along with his family to become the most powerful leader in a hugely important state with connections to the White house and those of a legendary politician, Dick Mel, an alderman. At some point the onset of dimentia set in and Rod Blagojevich lost direction in his decision making abilities. I have little doubt he could have made it to the white house under Obama and eventually done quite well in the private sector......only a team of skilled psychiatrists/psychologists can pinpoint what went so wrong. I have little doubt the appalling Mike Madigan and many members of the general assembly contributed, but in the end, Blagojevich is his own man and he must take responsibility. I hope he eventually is rehabilitated and finds his way.
